The primary function of a bread warmer is to maintain the warmth of bread, rolls, croissants, and other baked items throughout a meal, preventing them from cooling down and becoming less enjoyable.
- Preheat the oven or microwave: If using an oven, preheat to 350°F (175°C). If using a microwave, heat a cup of water on high for 3 minutes.
- Heat the warming stone: Place the stone in the preheated oven for 5-10 minutes. If using a microwave, place it on high for 2-4 minutes.
- Place the stone in the basket: Carefully remove the hot stone from the oven or microwave and place it in the bread basket.
- Add the bread: Place your bread on top of the heated stone or in the basket.
- Wrap the bread: Wrap the bread in a cloth or towel to help retain the heat.
- Serve and enjoy: Your bread should stay warm and fresh for a longer time.
Be sure to wear an oven mitt for warmer will be hot to the touch.
